A little bit about me

I’ve been in the creative industry for almost 30 years with my background being in graphic design. It’s what I still do day-to-day. But recently I’ve wanted a different kind of creative outlet. Something that’s more for me.

About three years ago, after watching The Great Pottery Throwdown, I decided I would love to try my hand at pottery. But, where to do it? I couldn’t believe how hard it was to find a class that I could do in the evening. My husband bought me a half day throwing experience at a local studio, which I absolutely loved but the regular classes were fully booked.

Then one day, a friend at work told me about an informal evening class at a local school. We decided to give it a go and we’re still going nearly three years later.

My crochet passion is much more recent. This started in March (2024) when a couple of friends were discussing how much they’d like to learn crochet. I had a friend at work who was a crochet whiz so I asked her if she wouldn’t mind giving us some lessons (I thought I’d join in too). She gave us a shopping list of the equipment we’d need and we started our own little crochet club. 

I love making modern things for the home with neutral colours.

So that’s me! My products may not be perfectly executed but they are all made by me with love and care. I hope you’ll be able to find something perfect for your home that will bring you as much joy as it gave me to make.
